All are welcome to attend! The SRN Annual Meeting & BOD Elections will be held on September 13, 2011, Euclid Restaurant (upstairs meeting room), 07:00PM . To help the Secretary prepare, please RSVP secretary@srnll.org. Note according to SRN By-Laws, a minimum 7 day notice must be sent to the SRN Membership.

The President calls the September “regular” Board Meeting to order and business of the regular September Board Meeting is transacted. Financial and Real property reports are given during this time to allow enough time for Elections during the Annual Meeting. Note: All SRN members are invited to attend the Annual Meeting. However, only current Board Members are allowed to make motions and vote during the regular September BOD meeting. Motions are made and passed to conclude the regular September Board of Directors Meeting. The President announces the beginning of Annual Meeting.  

Annual Meeting Agenda (some changes may be made to accommodate President's Agenda)

• Secretary takes roll of Regular Membership & determines if a quorum is present.
• Distributes copies of the Presidents Annual Meeting Agenda
• Nominations are taken from Election Committee then floor (those in attendance) for each Board Position beginning with President.
• The General Election begins with approval of the Nominees who then become candidates by Majority vote.
• Ballots are distributed for each position after nomination. Regular Members vote for Candidates by individual position. Ballots/Votes are gathered and counted by Secretary and Election Committee

“Regular Members” can vote in the election of new BOD Members or General Elections. Regular members of the league automatically include all current Board Members, Elected Committee Members, Managers and Coaches.

The definition of Regular Members taken from SRN By-Laws: Any adult person actively interested in furthering the objectives of the Local League may become a Regular Member upon election. The secretary shall maintain the roll of membership to qualify voting members. Only Regular Members in good standing are eligible to vote at General Membership Meetings. All Officers, Board Members, Committee Members, Managers, Coaches, and other elected or appointed officials must be active Regular Members in good standing.

During the July & August Board of Directors Meetings; the Board Secretary enlists Election Committee from the Board of Directors. The Election Committee responsible for Assisting Secretary with preparations for the Elections. Next BOD members & Election Committee reach out to the general membership; identify and recruit Board of Director Candidates or Committee Members. Note the nomination collection is ongoing, including nominations taken from the floor of the annual meeting.  

The Board of Directors encourages everyone to be involved by becoming a Board Member, Regular Member or Elected Committee Member. We also understand you may not have the time needed to become a ‘Regular Member”. In that case, we encourage you to make your ideas or opinions known by:

• Completing a Coach Appraisal Form
• Following SRN line of communication
