ABOUT SRNLL GIRLS FASTPITCH PROGRAM
SRN Girls Softball Program is a Little League Softball Program: The regulations and playing rules for the SRN Girls Softball program follow as closely as possible the established operation of the SRN Program. That includes safety guidelines, league structure and instructional objectives. In regard to players, Little League age rules apply, as do regulations relative to participation in SRN Baseball program. To learn more about SRN Little League Program review the Player Registration page or About SRN.
SRN Girls Fast Pitch Program is primarily an instructional program. For Girls ages 7 to 16. To achieve each Division’s development goal, all teams will provide a practice schedule prior League play. Player’s participation at practice is essential to their development and promotion to next level of play.
Girls Fast Pitch Softball is very much a part of the SRN Program and is coordinated by SRN. However, unlike our regular season Baseball Program, District 8 manages the game schedules and locations.
SRN teams will compete with other teams in our district, on other fields, is why this program is also known as “The Travel League”. To learn more about District 8 and “Travel League” see District 8
League and Game locations: SRNLL Girls Fastpitch Teams will participate in the NYS District 8 Softball League. They will complete against other Little League Teams in the Onondaga County area. Depending on community reception, registration enrollment and facilities, future considerations will be given to support inter-league play. Please see the menu to your right Field locations.
Space may be limited in this program registration is first come first serve. The number of players, teams that can be registered in this program is contingent on the number of SRN families, parents who are willing to be a Team Manager or Coach.
