New Umpires 

 

  1. Click here SRN UMPIRE
  2. You must attend training classes given by District 8 (D8 UMPIRE & see Junior Umpire Home Page)
  3. Fill out 2010 LL Volunteer Form (Volunteer Form)  IMPORTANT:   Mail your form to SRN,P.O. Box 2233 Clay New York. You cannot Umpire for SRN without this form.
  4. Contact: Doug Mason  umpire@srnll.org 652-0679(H) 278-4798(C)  You must contact me IN ADDITION TO registering with District 8 in order to get on the e-mail list.

Returning Umpires

  1. District 8 training is encouraged, but not required.  You will need to register with District 8 to umpire tournament and Fall Ball games.
  2. Fill out 2010 LL Volunteer Form (Volunteer Form)  IMPORTANT:   Mail your form to SRN,P.O. Box 2233 Clay New York. You cannot Umpire for SRN without this form.
  3. If you have not done so already, contact me to ensure that you are on the e-mail list.  Most already have.

 In-Season

  1. SRN will provide game assignments, face mask, protective shield and shin guards.
  2. You need to provide a black polo shirt (no tee shirts), grey pants (no shorts), black shoes (sneakers or cleats), umpire indicator and a good attitude.
  3. Assignments are done weekly and sent via e-mail no later than Sunday evening. 
  4. You must contact me (e-mail preferred) with your availability for the following week by Friday.  I make the schedule on Sat/Sun so if you do not contact me by Friday you may miss out!
  5. If you miss your game and do not let me know ahead of time, you will be my last choice for future assignments.  There is almost always someone else available  who wants your slot so give them a chance.
