Temperature Policy

Cold:

No games or practices when temperature is below 50 degrees. For help click on NOAA.

 

Heat:

Follow directions below & Always use good judgment and common sense. Team Managers, before practice & game monitor NOAA. During practice & games, monitor players closely. Follow Little League & NOAA guidelines for players on the field

Who makes the call?

 

GAMES

For Games, One of the following:

à    Umpires:

Pre-Game and Game in play will be cancelled by Umpire related to weather and field conditions.

à    Team Managers:

Pre-Game or Game in play agreement is made between Team Managers & Umpire  

à    BOD Officers Responsible:

President, VP Baseball Operations, Buildings & Grounds Director

 

Practices

For Practice, One of the following:

à    Team Managers: Cancel practice using SRN Policy

à    BOD Officers Responsible

President, VP Baseball Operations, Buildings & Grounds Director

à    Rain can cause slick field conditions leading to player injury
